LRDC brings together key resources related to economic, workforce, and housing services, and hosts cultural events such as the Lumbee Homecoming.  

SPBA engages fire as the most effective and economical tool for restoring the Longleaf ecosystem of the region, carrying on the ecological evoution of the Longleaf ecosystem historically maintained by Native Americans and settlers to keep forests open for hunting, turpentine production, and cattle grazing.
