The Plan for I’On includes a continuous public waterfront and marshfront, a wide range of dwelling sizes and types, "live/work" units, and a corner store. In response to the spectacular setting, homes and civic buildings have been built in the classic architectural style of the Lowcountry and are located along canals and footbridges, tidal creeks, lakes, and expanses of saltwater marsh.

The heart of Babcock Ranch is sustainability. Babcock Ranch is America’s first solar-powered community. All homes are built to Florida Green Building Requirements, and all schools are built with LEED certifications.

The Wheeler District is a new community in the center of Oklahoma City, located along the southern bank of the Oklahoma River less than two miles from downtown. This new urban village aims to grow over time to become the most walkable, bikable neighborhood in the region, with a focus on family and a range of housing options and building types not available elsewhere in the city.

The South Main development extends downtown Buena Vista to the Arkansas River. Neighborhood streets are oriented to create views to the mountains as well as to the riverfront. The South Main Square, which abuts a new riverfront park, is surrounded by mixed-use buildings, and provides a central gathering space for residents and visitors.

The Lions Gate wastewater treament plant is renowned as a community amenity bringing value to the neighborhoods it serves, and it became known as a “fresh water and energy generation plant, producing nutrients for the surrounding gardens that are so beautiful that people want to go there to get married”, as opposed to a hidden or undesirable sewage treatment facility.

Atlanta Habitat for Humanity’s Browns Mill Village community provides safe, affordable homeownership opportunities for families in South Atlanta.

As a multi-functional project, the center will be focused around not only the farmer’s market but also providing the community with educational resources including test gardens, a teaching lab and programs for culinary arts.

Students and visitors are engaged in “the story” of the school’s environment, and the use of nature-based designs help to demonstrate the connections to the planet. Students don’t just observe, but are experiencing and participating with the whole system.

This neighborhood plan imagines a new future for a riverfront industrial site from which Chattanoogans were fenced off for over 100 years. The property will once again become a busy place where a lot of people will be employed, but now it will be a complete neighborhood where people can also live, where creative office workers can come to work, where people can come to be entertained, and where people can enjoy generous public spaces, walkable streets and the waterfront. Its close-in location will allow this to be the region’s “first 21st Century, car-optional neighborhood.”

Trent Preserve is a unique and special landscape in eastern North Carolina, with a future use as a children's education center. Demonstrating the importance of "biophilia" in conserved and restored native forest, meadow, wetland and riverbank landscapes, Trent Preserve will also begin development of light impact agroforestry and other forms of perennial agriculture.

The design team created buffers necessary to preserve habitat in the Draper Lake, the surrounding wetlands, and the native scrub vegetation.

Park improvements blend the built environment within the landscape, highlighted by the habitat restoration of the three springs to promote the recolonization of the endangered Georgetown Salamander. After a 30-year absence, the species was recently confirmed at the site.
